The Hope Center is an accredited member in good standing with the ECFA.
Accreditation in ECFA is an important public statement of this ministry's resolve to conduct and disclose its activities in the most responsible manner possible.
Financial support is a very important part of keeping our facility open and operational 365 days a year.
If you'd like to become a partner of our ministry then there are three easy ways to give:

The Hope Center is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, charitable organization.
Donations are tax-deductible.
We'd first like to say "thank you" for your interest in donating to The Hope Center. The Hope Center does not receive any form of government tax assistance to operate so we rely heavily on the sales of gently used donated goods in our Thrift Stores along with the generous financial gifts given by individuals, churches, civic groups, businesses and others in our community.
When you donate, the money given or generated from Thrift Store sales stays directly in our community helping those who are homeless, hungry and struggling with addictions. You'd be surprised how much your donation, whether great or small, can help change the lives, and save lives, of your neighbors in need.
When you give you're investing in people in our own backyard. All money given stays here. Your support helps to keep our facility free for all of our guests in need. From families needing help, to after school & summer programs for at-risk kids, to homeless men who need a safe place to sleep, your generous support helps thousands of people in difficult situations get the assistance needed to change their lives, or even, save their lives.
People might not realize the darkness that many in our community are facing. But the need is real. And your help is crucial and life-changing.
So again, thank you for partnering with us to help make a difference in our community.
Read through the various ways that you can provide HOPE to Hagerstown. Any little bit helps us keep our doors open and lights on all year long.
We LOVE our volunteers! And we believe that we've got the best volunteers in the Four State!
While our volunteers may come in all different shapes and sizes, ages and abilities, they all have one thing in common: HOPE.
Each of our volunteers want to make a difference and bring hope back into the lives of those in need. Volunteers at The Hope Center have a heart to help and they use their abilities and talents in so many different ways throughout the year.
Ready to learn more about volunteering? Great! We've got a website designed specifically for volunteers. Take a look at the different areas you can get involved and then connect with us. We'll be waiting!
