Foundations Life Recovery

There's never an easy way to fix a problem. It takes hard work, dedication, desire and purpose. But it's so much easier when you have friends and family who are willing to help.

And that's why we're here.

Once an individual is ready to take the step to life recovery, they can join our men's program. Our program, Foundations Life Recovery, is free for any man that is ready to restore their life. Once in the program, the men will work through different levels of accountability. The men are enrolled in classes as well as being assigned various jobs around the property.

Our programs not only deal with addictions, but we believe God wants to build an entire new life in each of our program residents as described in II Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away, behold all things have become new.”

Foundations Life Recovery is based on I Corinthians 3:11 which says, “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

Our 13-month residential life recovery program is designed for men who have expressed a desire to change their lives – both physically and spiritually. Intended to break the cycle of homelessness and addictions, this ministry encourages individual accountability and responsibility using a Biblically-based class curriculum, work assignments, and counseling. The desired goal for each man is to successfully complete this program and become a contributing member of society.

Our program curriculum is based on the following five Biblical principles. Each resident will be evaluated on how they incorporate these principles into their lives. We believe that through these “life long” Biblical principles a resident will live an addiction-free, effective life that will bring purpose, peace and HOPE:

  • I Need Change – The resident must demonstrate a desire that he is willing to allow change in his life – whatever that may be, whatever God may reveal to make him more like Christ – allowing the Lord to tear down all the old and build up the new life. “Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1a.

  • Inspired to grow in God – Residents must show a desire to want to grow (mature) in Jesus Christ and have the basic understanding of how to go about that process. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” Matthew 6:33; “As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word that you may grow thereby” I Peter 2:2.

  • Accountability – A resident must understand and show that he will hold himself accountable to God’s standards and not his own. “Therefore brethren, we are debtors [we have an obligation], not to the sinful nature [the flesh], to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature [the flesh] you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live” Romans 8:12.

  • Transformed by God – Each resident is expected to live a life that is continually being transformed to be more like Jesus Christ. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind …” Romans 12:2.

  • Live for God’s glory – Each man is challenged to live daily for God’s glory by yielding their lives to God’s will and showing the world, by their love, that they are followers of Christ. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” Romans 12:1. “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” John 13:35.

If you, or someone you know, is ready to commit to breaking the cycle of addiction, dependency and hopelessness by joining our life recovery program then please contact us today to talk to someone who can get the process started or fill out the form below to get the ball rolling. We're here to help bring lasting change to men who are ready and willing to step up and be all that God created them to be. You're only 13 months away from freedom and recovery!
