Food Bags

Our food bags (through our food pantry) are available to anyone in need. To receive a food bag, call 301-739-1165 during office hours (Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00 PM) to schedule an appointment to pick up a food bag. We cannot guarantee a food bag if you arrive without an appointment.

We do not require a food bank card to participate. A household may receive ONE food bag every 30 days.

Our food bags contain items such as peanut butter, canned vegetables and fruits, spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, canned tuna and chicken, ramen, cake or brownie mixes, canned soup, boxed dinners, and other easy to prepare foods.

Donate to our Food Ministry

Our kitchen goes through a lot of food. Between all the daily meals for our residents and guests and all of the food bags handed out each week, our food pantry is busy.

Food donations are a vital part of our ministry. Individuals, families, churches, schools, civic and community groups and others give various types of food all year long. Many groups choose to host a food drive while others pick up products to donate on their weekly grocery run.
